What Is Recreational Soccer?

The Winter Haven Soccer Club's Recreational Soccer Program is for all players who wish to play the Great Game of Soccer. Soccer is the World's #1 Sport and is played in well over 200 Countries around the World today.

In the United States, soccer is one of the fastest growing sports and here at Winter Haven Soccer Club we continue to grow each year. We are striving to be the largest soccer club in Polk County and rely on volunteers to help us develop a love of the game for the young soccer players in our area.

Players that play for our U.S. Soccer National Teams, Major League Soccer (MLS), National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), College Programs, High Schools and our own Competitive Teams, all started out as Recreational Soccer Players somewhere.  Getting it right at the Grassroots level of play is vitally important to developing players for the future and it all starts with our Recreational Players.

All you need to do is go to to the "Drop Down Menu" above that is labeled "Recreational / Developmental" and then click on the upcoming season. Once there, you will find the registration links for both your player as well as for you if you wish to volunteer (education and training provided) to be a coach within our organization.
