About Our Competitive Program

This is the Highest Level of Play that we offer at WInter Haven Soccer Club.

Our program still follows the Mission, Vision, Values, Principles and Philosophies of our Club. We are ONE CLUB, ONE TEAM, ONE FAMILY for OUR COMMUNITY!

Our entire program is focused on long term player development and has aligned itself with the teaching methodologies provided by U.S. Soccer.

Our teams coached by Licensed coaches as we truly believe that every child deserves the right to be coached by a Licensed coach.

We play in a wide variety of leagues and events based on the level of play across our teams. The player is at the heart of every decision that we make as we strive to stay at the vanguard of player develop.

Our Executive Director and Director of Coaching, Mark Godwin, is part of the U.S. Soccer Talent I.D. Program and is a Talent I.D. Reporter as well as participates in the U.S. Soccer Talent I.D. Centers. This program identifies the next generation of soccer players for our U.S. Soccer Youth National Teams. He is currently the ONLY Reporter in Polk County, Florida.

Coach Godwin, also teaches the U.S. Soccer Club Technical Leadership License Level 1(formerly the Director of Coaching License), the U.S. Soccer C License, the U.S. Soccer D License and all of the U.S. Soccer Grassroots Licenses, as well as, the U.S. Soccer Coach for Community Workshop. He is the ONLY Coach Educator in Florida that can Lead all of these courses for U.S. Soccer.
