ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride has announced its newest addition to the Orlando Youth Soccer Network with the unveiling of Orlando Soccer School – Winter Haven, as the Club continues to expand its footprint and impact across Central Florida.

“We’re proud to welcome Winter Haven into the Orlando Soccer School Network,” said Nick Santos, Senior Director of Growth Marketing for Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride. “With a rich history in the game and deep community roots, this partnership represents a powerful opportunity to continue growing the sport and positively impacting youth and families across Polk County.”

Founded in 1978 as the Winter Haven Youth Soccer Association and long known as Winter Haven Soccer Club, the organization brings nearly five decades of history and community presence into the Club’s growing youth ecosystem.

“This is a proud and exciting moment for our club,” said Les Moore, President of Winter Haven. “For nearly 50 years, we’ve served the Winter Haven community with a focus on developing players and building character through the game. Partnering with Orlando City and Orlando Pride allows us to take that mission to the next level—providing our players and families with enhanced resources, a clear pathway, and a deeper connection to the professional game.”

OSS – Winter Haven will offer programming for boys and girls ages 3 through 19, providing both recreational and competitive pathways aligned with the Club’s proven development model.

The main complex is located at Simmers-Young Park in Winter Haven, a premier facility featuring 12 full-size, floodlit fields, including seven natural grass and five turf surfaces. The site also serves as the school’s primary office location. In addition, the program will utilize three fields at Polk State College, further strengthening its collaboration with both city and county partners and ensuring continued access to high-quality playing environments.

Currently home to approximately 700 registered players, including more than 230 girls, OSS – Winter Haven reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to growing participation across both the boys’ and girls’ game.
