U.S. Soccer Talent Identification

Our Executive Director and Director of Coaching, Mark Godwin, shared a little known detail about himself at our Competitive Coaches Meeting this past week. Coach Godwin is part of the U.S. Soccer Talent I.D. Program and is a Talent I.D. Reporter as well as participates in the U.S. Soccer Talent I.D. Centers. This program identifies the next generation of soccer players for our U.S. Soccer Youth National Teams. He is currently the ONLY Reporter in Polk County, Florida.

Coach Godwin, also teaches the U.S. Soccer Club Technical Leadership License Level 1(formerly the Director of Coaching License), the U.S. Soccer C License, the U.S. Soccer D License and all of the U.S. Soccer Grassroots Licenses, as well as, the U.S. Soccer Coach for Community Workshop. He is the ONLY Coach Educator in Florida that can Lead all of these courses for U.S. Soccer.
